Mas des Agrunelles, Cariño (2019). Languedoc, France. Carignan.

A thoughtful and hands-off approach to vine growing and wine making: wild yeast fermentation and whole bunch maceration for depth of flavour, both savoury and juicy. This is 70-year-old-vine Carignan, and it really sings when it’s in the best possible, loving hands. Bright, juicy red fruit, cherry, fennel and tobacco.
